As the title implies, I'm going to a new school come September. I had an interview today and left with my acceptance letter in hand! Although I still have a year left at the art school I'm currently attending, I really want to switch gears and go to fashion school. So I plan to finish my current degree on a part time basis while attending the other school, just a block away. The other good news is that I don't have to take the introduction to sewing, since I've been sewing for ten years already it's a good thing I don't have to pay to take a course I probably wouldn't learn anything in! So now, GEM_art is on its way, all I have to do is find a summer job, although I have a commission, two really, I'm not confident enough to go all summer without a steady income!!
